The world of code is almost limitless. Learning to manipulate the lines, characters, ones and zeroes that make up scripting languages can unlock doors to vast horizons, qualifying you for a career you love (and that pays well).
Sometimes, however, you need a little help preparing for that career.
At Zip Code, our mission is to create a one-of-a-kind learning opportunity that helps our graduates change their income potential for life, and impact the local economy by increasing the region’s ability to meet the growing demand for software developers. Our coding bootcamp is an intense program that requires a commitment of up to 80 hours in a week and an open-mind to learn in a new way. If you don’t feel quite ready to jump into our 12-week bootcamp, we want to ease the transition for you. We believe you shouldn’t have to miss out on an amazing opportunity just because you need a stronger foundation.
We recently created Zip Code Prep, which was designed for those who need a jumpstart on the fundamentals in order to succeed in our intensive 3-month coding bootcamp.
The prep course will be available to previous applicants who were not accepted on their initial try. The goal is to give them a second chance at success. Through this course, the applicants will be equipped with the necessary skills and confidence, to excel on the admissions assessment and ultimately increase their chance at acceptance into the program.
The course will run for 4 weeks, twice a week in the evenings, beginning on July 31st and will be held at our facility in The Mill. The fee is $150, and will be credited toward the applicant’s tuition if accepted. Financial assistance is available for those who qualify. Included in the fee is a Chromebook to use for the duration of the course.
The Zip Code staff and instructors are dedicated to helping you succeed. In addition, each applicant will be paired with an alumni mentor because we understand that sometimes you just need a little extra guidance.
If you would like your second chance at success, we would love to tell you more about the prep course and how it can set you up for a career you love.
