Admissions Policy: Repeat Applicants & Application Conduct
Please take note of the following Terms and Conditions relating to candidates’ applications submitted for the Zip Code Wilmington Java Software Developer and Data Engineering & Analytics Training Programs. (Effective Date: September 1, 2025. Applications submitted 15 months prior to the Effective Date shall be attributed towards the three-application limit.)
Repeat Application Policy
At Zip Code Wilmington, we believe in second chances and welcome applications from individuals who continue to grow and develop their skills; however, as a nonprofit, the resources available to review and respond to the applications we receive is limited. Accordingly, we have placed in effect the following conditions for applications:
- There is no cost to apply to Zip Code Wilmington.
- Online resources identified to candidates to build their skills and test their interest in software programming are offered to potential candidates at no cost.
- Applicants may apply up to three times within any 15-month period. After three unsuccessful attempts, applicants must wait 15 months before reapplying.
As a workforce development program, we encourage applicants who are not admitted to continue building their skills and seeking job opportunities in the tech industry by utilizing online resources, other training programs or opportunities, or related work experience before reapplying for admission to Zip Code Wilmington.
Application Conduct
We reserve the right to decline applications from individuals whose prior conduct has not reflected our core values of integrity, respect, and grit. We ask that all applicants engage with staff, fellow applicants, and the wider Zip Code Wilmington community in a manner that demonstrates professionalism and mutual respect.
Admissions Decisions
All admissions decisions are final. While we value every applicant’s effort, we are unable to provide individualized feedback or reconsideration once a decision has been made. Good luck with your application journey!
